Description:
Mint example of a DWM Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. It is all matching (extractor and toggle pin are un-numbered) and has the proper Imperial German proofs. It comes as a rig with one original ww1 non matching numbered magazine, a police unit marked magazine, a stunning 1918-dated holster, original "Gott Mit Uns" slogan ww1 German belt and bucket in fair condition and a unmarked ww1 tool. The gun itself has retained about 94-95% of its original bluing with areas of minor wear on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle. Very minor thinning on along the barrel. While there is not much actual finish lose some tiny spots of oxidation on the side rails. Comes with excellent wood grips that both have the last number of the serial digit "5" as well as a couple other cartouches. The holster is 1918 dated and imperail marked other than very minor cracking in the lower portion of the holster the leather is in high condition, soft and pliable, a hard to beat holster. The belt and buckle are in fair condition with the leather heavily cracked and extremely soft and pliable. $2800 or trades considered. Original M17 Stalhelm available as well.
