Description:
This is an exceptionally fine shotgun, patented in 1864. It is serial #4602, made in about 1870. It is a 2 1/2 inch chamber. It has remarkable detail in the manufacture if this gun, having "loaded" engraved in the firing pins to indicate if the chamber is loaded or not. It has 2 1/2 inches of drop at the heel, length of pull 14 3/4 inches from the front trigger. The gun locks up well and triggers are clean and positive. Hammers are rebounding. I have shot many upland birds with this gun, a real pleasure to own...$3700.00
