Offered for sale is one (1) L.C. Smith by Hunter Arms Co. Fulton N.Y., Specialty Grade, 12-gauge, S/N FwE 126575 all matching (manufactured 1930), Feather Weight Frame, Ejectors, 28" Bbls, Choked Left .696"/Right .706" measured back from muzzle 5/8". Both barrel tubes stamped "Crown Steel H.C. Co. Mark". Stock dimensions are LOP; 14" to factory buttplate, DC 1 3/8", DH 2 1/4". Overall condition 98%+, mint bore, no dents. Between the years 1913-1945, 6565 Specialty Grades were sold, with an additional 109 sold post war between 1946-1950 for a total of 6674 total sales. Lock plates have a pair of quail in cover on left, and a duck in flight with wings outstretched on right lock plate. Has been in my collection since October 1989.
