Synopsis: Walther P38, AC 42, German Military Pistol, 381, FB01244 Description: Walther P38, made in 1942, all matching, with matching Walther magazine. SN: 381. Cal: 9mmP. Standard configuration P38 with 5” barrel, drift adjustable front sight and fixed rear sight. Stacked address on the left side of slide that includes “ac” manufacturers code, the date “42” and the serial number. Safety positions marked with a white highlighted “S” and a red highlighted “F”. The right side of slide with the usual three acceptances, two of which were applied after bluing. The full serial number is repeated on the left side of the frame, left side of the slide, under the barrel and on the locking block. Fitted with the correct dark brown grips. Walther magazine with E/359 double acceptance on spine and matching number on floorplate. Condition: VG/EXC bright original salt blue with sharp edge and holster wear that one would expect from light use. Fading on the front strap as photographed. Crisp original grips. Same condition applies to the magazine. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics.
