Another super scarce Colt 1911A1 Government model master factory engraved gold by Wilbur A Glahn. The gun is a one of kind 1911 with small gold parts and absolutely beautiful factory ivory grips. The gun also has a match barrel and a 4 1/2 pound trigger pull according to the factory letter. The gun was shipped March of 1926. The gun has Number 2 or B engraving which is 50 % this one looks more like B+ or C. Pre war factory engraved 1911s are extremely rare maybe 100 to 150 most are A engraved and maybe half a dozen had different finishes applied. This gun is featured on Sam Liskers Coltautos. I'm terminally ill and listing my collection of 45 years in the next week. Layaway available. Ask for more pictures it's hard to get all angles with only 15 pictures that's all they allow.
