An avid shooter and collector’s Used; High-Condition Smith & Wesson Full-Lug 6-Inch Barrel Model 17-6 .22 LR Revolver with the desirable/premium Wide Target Trigger & Target Hammer in addition to the Wide, Solid Serrated Rib; Windage & Elevation Click-Adjustable Target Rear Sight; 1/8-Inch Ramped, Pinned Partridge Front Sight; Recessed Cylinder; 3-Screw Sideplate; Unpinned Barrel; Serrated Front- & Backstrap; Frame-Mounted (fixed) Trigger Stop. This revolver has the S&W Factory Finger Groove (Possibly Rosewood) Grips; Small S&W Monogram on the Left Side of the Receiver; and Proper Barrel and Frame Markings. Serial Number BEE 90XX indicates (approximately) 1989 Year of Manufacture. The Bore is Bright and Sharp with Perfect Rifling; Cylinder and Chambers show little firing with no carbon rings on the cylinder front. A Cylinder line is visible and some wear from opening and closing that suggests more handling than firing. Small areas of wear show on the Muzzle and Muzzle-End of the Underlug. Not being dealers or experts, we estimate the metal finish at 95-98 Percent Original with Photos being the best judge of condition.
