Here’s a unique offering from a gunsmith’s estate: an Arisaka Type 44 reimagined for precision shooting. This rifle has been rebarreled in .22-250 caliber and upgraded with a sleek thumbhole stock, making it ideal for varmint hunting or hitting targets at the range.
Features include a 24\" Douglas barrel with sharp rifling and a bright bore, ensuring exceptional accuracy. The rifle has a 13.75\" length of pull and an overall length of 43.5\". While there is some minor rust on the receiver (visible in photos), it should clean up nicely with fine steel wool and Remoil.
Topping it off is a BSA Classic 3-12x50mm scope, giving you the reach and clarity to make the most of this setup. This custom Arisaka is a fantastic blend of vintage character and modern precision—a true one-of-a-kind shooter ready for its next chapter!
