This helmet in very good condition with very little oxidation, excellent exterior "cork" finished original paint, the interior is marked with a M1917A1 heat code of "5C". The brim is marked JAMES MERATT with what could be a partial service number. The chinstrap is in excellent original condition with brass fixtures.
