I have a 1912 savage 1899 that has been rebarreled with a late 1940's early 1950's savage barrel manufactured in Chicopee Falls - in very good condition. It has been tapped for a scope. I value the rifle at $850. I also have 8 boxes of Remington Kleanbore 22 savage, 2 boxes of Hornady .227 22 cal bullets, 1 box Remington hp mushroom bullets, 1 box Remington arms union metallic cartridge Co, and 3 boxes .228 (100 bullets each) and a RCBS seater for .22 Sav HP.
Most of this .227 ammunition/bullets is very hard to find!
