Manufactured at the Springfield Armory in December 1944 and is in Outstanding condition and looks like it was hardly fired if at all. Bore looks new. Been sitting in safe for years unfired. Complete rig includes:  M84 Telescope with correct mount - Hider Flash M2 - MRT 10.52 Cheek Pad with correct brass screws -sling - cleaning kit with oiler bottle & grease pot - (fits in buttstock) -  Technical manual - USMC Carry Case, Marine Corps designated these as their official Sniper Rifle in WWII,  The M1C was the original Garand Sniper Rifle, not the later M1D that was never used in combat. SA Barrel with the correct P & PW stamps, SA Receiver, SA Bolt,SA Trigger housing. Also Bayonet marked OL US 1943 Flaming Bomb & Scabbard marked US Flaming Bomb, and Bandoleer with 8 enbloc clips loaded with 64 rounds of ammo in correct cardboard sleeves.  I'm 81,a US Army Veteran and was a Group Armorer (gunsmith) and I assure you this is one of the nicest ones you will find for your collection.
