For your consideration, a Smith & Wesson model 61-3 Escort chambered in .22 Long Rifle. The -3 variant was the apex of Escort production, incorporating a forged aluminum frame and steel barrel bushing. Only ~6,600 of the 64,938 total Escort production were nickel plated. Additionally, this configuration is notable as Travis Bickle's sleeve-rig mounted holdout piece in the hit 1976 film, Taxi Driver. This example dates to 1972. .22 Long Rifle
