Description:
Here we present a very nice example of the Finnish M27 Army variant of the Mosin-Nagant rifle chambered in 7.62 x 54R. This rifle was manufactured at the Tikkakoski factory in Finland circa 1934 and has matching serial numbers (79441) on the receiver and bolt. The rifle is in overall Very Good Condition with a few spots of light finish wear. The 27" barrel has an excellent, shiny bore with strong rifling. There is also a small, superficial hairline crack on the right side of the stock just rear of the barrel band (shown in pictures) which has been repaired and appears to be quite solid. The wood on this gun is gorgeous and, aside from the one small imperfection, is in excellent condition. The rifle was imported by C.A.I. and is tastefully marked as such on the underside of the barrel. The Finns are well-known for their excellent craftsmanship, making these rifles one of the most desirable of the Mosin-Nagant variants.
