ANTIQUE Rare Sharps 4-Shot pepperbox pistol Model1 in .22 Rimfire
Unique Revolving Firing Pin.
Antique Sharps Model 1A Pepperbox Pistol, made in the 1860s with a production run of 1859 through 1874 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Pressing the button under the frame releases the 4 one piece barrels to slide forward for loading . Pull back slightly on the hammer and the barrels lock in place. Has a very unique revolving firing pin.
Condition: 2 1/2” cluster sound barrels show some trace original blue turning to a nice antique gun metal gray. Bore is in good condition with minor pitting and still showing very strong rifling. Frame markings on both sides are legible. Firing pin rotates and works as it should. The original black Gutta-Percha grips are in very good condition with minor edge wear and handling marks. Mechanically works great with Solid lock-up , strong hammer spring that hammer holds in half and full-cock positions. Barrel and frame have matching numbers . Please judge condition from the photos.
Also included is a nice looking presentation case with a full box of vintage .22 RF ammo to display with this really nice looking pistol
