Description:
This took some doing but the master gunsmith Sedgley was up to the task of modifying a 30-06 Springfield to load and feed 22 Hornet ammo from a custom blind mag. Custom side safety trigger, looks like Canjar. The 24" barrel has a very good bore, bears the maker's name, and accommodates a Fecker 4.5 power target style scope with external adjustments on target blocks with screw-on caps, in addition to a Redfield target receiver sight and banded hooded front bead. Nice bore, blueing and wood both show well. Scope has some external blotches of pitting on the objective bell that does not affect function but the vertical crosshair is gone. Metal buttplate (Win 70). Interesting vintage walking varmint rifle.
