Description:
This rifle is fitted with a scarce 38-55 caliber 26 inch tapered half octagon barrel with a button magazine. Excellent bore and crisp action. A Marble Number 3 front and a Winchester sporting rear sight. Most all the barrel blue remains. Receiver also has most thinning original blue with some wear at the carry point. Traces of case color on the hammer and lever. It's original wood retains about 75% original varnish with a unique pistol grip stock finish complete with a shotgun style buttplate. Very clean sharp gun.
