Description:
A very hard to find Remington 742 rifle in 6mm Remington. Built in 1965, this rifle is in outstanding original condition. It retains 98% of the original blue and 99% of the original wood finish. The 22" barrel has a mint bore. The stock and forend are nicely figured and are free of any cracks or damage. The stock retains the original steel buttplate. These 742s saw hard use so it is rare to find one in this condition. Very few of them were produced in 6mm. This rifle would be a fine addition to any Remington collection.
