Higher condition Winchester 52B Sporter .22 LR with an added rare Maxwell Smith Co. G88 scope.
S/N 63457B with matching scribed bolt made in 1948.
Very strong and bright original finishes throughout showing 97% Blue and Varnish over most, with somewhat more wear in the usual places of bottom metal and buttplate.
The trigger guard/base plate is correctly stamped "SPORTING".
24" standard weight barrel with a mint bore. All mechanical functions appear to be working smoothly and properly.
Original 5 shot magazine. Original Super Grade style detachable swivels. Even the sling is original with its correct frog hooks and diamond crimps, and remains in excellent condition.
The factory issued Lyman 48 receiver sight base remains in place, but the aperture arm is vacant and unavailable.
An extra clean and beautiful 52B Sporter that should make someone a wonderful shooter and/or collectible.
