The Remington 740 Woodmaster was manufactured from 1955 to 1959. With the serial number being 19XXX, we believe this was manufactured earlier in the production run. This semi-automatic is chambered in .30-06.
This rifle has been factory drilled for scope mounts, but we have no indication that scope mounts were ever on this rifle. We have a factory scope base mount available on request.
Included with the 740 is the correct magazine for a sem-automatic.
The rifle's bluing is in very good condition. The stock has no chips, cracks, scratches, or gouges. Minimal amount of freckling on wood and metal.
