Description:
Winchester Model 70 chambered in 243 Winchester with a 22" barrel. Manufactured in 1972 with serial # G1056466 and remains in exceptional condition for a used gun if it was ever used. This example has a brass beaded blade front sight dovetailed into a checkered ramped base that is screwed to the barrel. The front sight has a protective hood installed. The rear sight is a "U" notched express sight that is dovetailed into a base that is fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation. The stock is one-piece checkered walnut with ebony nose cap, capped pistol grip, Monte-Carlo comb with cheekpiece, black checkered hard plastic Winchester butt plate and sling studs front and rear. The top of the receiver has scope bases installed. No box. .243 Winchester
