Description:
Up for sale is a Montana made Shiloh Sharps Hartford model chambered in 50 cal with 2-1/2" case aka 50-90 sharps straight. Rifle come with standard options associated with the Hartford option like a Hartford collar at the breach end of the barrel, pewter forearm tip, and double set triggers. Some upgrades include a bone and charcoal pack hardening on the receiver and steel buttplate, fire blued screws, mva front sight globe, mva tang sight base. Wood is a select grade walnut with oil finish hand picked for its red color and straight grain to replicate a professional hide hunters rifle. Length of pull is a touch longer than standard at 14 inches. 30 inch octagonal barrel with shilohs 1:22" left-handed twist rifling. Rifle will go with 100 rounds of blackpowder ammo, dies, Buffalo arms 695 grain creedmoor bullet mold. Rifle alone would cost $3600 to build today plus a 4 year waiting period. Components would be an additional $300. Asking price for total package here is $3000 thanks for looking and happy shooting.
