***   SOLD   ***   JUST IN FROM THE DICKSON WORKSHOP IN SCOTLAND   ***   We are very pleased to be able to offer this vintage Anson & Deeley boxlock ejector gun by Alex Martin of Glasgow, this one delivered in 1895 and retaining a huge amount of its original finish. The gun is in great condition throughout, the action partially scroll engraved and unusually with the full 'Alexander Martin Glasgow' banner across the sides of the action. The gun is fitted with a well figured stock which has sunken decorative side panels and the checkering is crisp throughout, and finished with a ebonite heelplate.

In order to prepare the gun for sale Dicksons have completed a full service, strip and clean and re-browned the barrels, leaving the original charcoal black of the furniture and stock finish. It has an auto safety, double triggers, and automatic ejectors. Comes in a leather case with maker’s label that is in good condition but will need repairs to the straps and handle. Gun weighs 6lb 9oz.

The 30” highly figured nitro Damascus barrels have a top extension and are chambered for 2-1/2” shotshells. They are topped by a raised solid tapered concave gamestyle rib. The right barrel is bored 0.722 with a constriction of 0.003 for Skeet choke. Minimum wall thickness is 0.031. The left barrel is bored 0.725 and has a constriction of 0.024 for Modified choke.
