"SN: 147360/256148. One .45 and one .38 Spl, each with 5.5" barrels. A matched pair of custom engraved 1st Gen Single Actions with holster rig that belonged to Mexican film and music superstar Pedro Infante. The guns have been custom rebuilt with 2nd Gen barrels and then engraved to match. The grips are solid Mexican silver. The holster rig is fully tooled and shows considerable wear. The guns are in very good condition, showing light use. Pedro Infante died tragically at only 39 but was considered the best and most famous actor of the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema. His movies and music are still immensely popular today, and he could be called the Frank Sinatra of Mexico. The guns are accompanied by extensive provenance, having come from the collection of John Speakes, a legal attache of the American Embassy in Mexico City in the 1950’s. A beautiful and historical set, coming from the beloved icon of Mexican film and music.
