Description:
ON HOLD...You don't see these every day. It is a factory engraved S&W M&P Model 1905 38 Hand Ejector. According to the factory letter it shipped to Hapleigh Hardware on September 20, 1913. It came equipped with a 4" barrel, blue finish, walnut gold medallion grips, and a Lyman ivory bead front sight. It was engraved by Oscar Young. Bore is shiny with excellent lands and grooves. Looks about like new. No issues. Action is smooth and tight. It works as designed. The deluxe walnut grips are excellent with a perfect fit, no cracks or chips, and nice checkering. Most of the original blue finish remains. It does show use, but has a great look. The original factory engraving is in nice condition and also has a great look. Markings are original and easy to see. You will notice some nice case color on the hammer and trigger. All numbers are correct and matching. This revolver is interesting. You don't see them like this very often.
