Description:
This is a virtually unissued 1939-dated belt, with 2nd pattern Luftwaffe buckle. The embossed aluminum exhibits very few handling marks or wear, and is maker marked and dated on the reverse: "F.R. 39" (Franz Reischauer of Oberstein, 1939). The belt has only minor wear along the edges, as well as very little crazing or flaking along the surface. Some of the stitching is missing on the interior tab, but the Franz Reischauer, "1939" maker stamp is still crisp and clear. This is an incredibly well-preserved belt and buckle set, and would make a great addition to a collection.
