Winchester Pre-64 Model 70 Cal, 257 Roberts with 24" Bbl. Blue finished with Varnished checkered pistol grip walnut stock. Checkered steel butt plate. Receiver ring factory drilled with 2 holes. Receiver bridge NOT drilled & tapped. Bolt has matching serial number electro penciled on underside. Very fine & sharp rifled bore. Metal retains 85% finish with balance toned to plum from age. Floor plate and trigger guard retain 85% blue with edge wear. Stock is very fine with over 90% varnish with thinning at toe and edges. Very small crack in stock at rear tang. Factory swivels. Mechanically excellent Mfd, 1942.
