For your consideration , 1918 AH Fox XE Grade 12 Gauge ,Serial # 24737 ! This is a Single Select Trigger gun and is a Very Handsome AH Fox wearing Beautiful condition #3 weight 28" ,12 Gauge Barrels with 2 3/4 inch chambers Choked Modified and Imp. Modified ! The Wood ,is Gorgeous with no cracks ,repairs or chipping also very sharp checking ,The stock measurements are as follows ,LOP 13 7/8 ,DAC 1 1/2 and the DAH is 2 5/8 ! The Stock appears to be original to the gun although I have never had it off the gun to see if it is serial numbered to the gun also I do know the Forend wood has been professionally replaced and is exact to original XE Specification and Checkering pattern ! The Metal Engraving is immpeccable with the Fox engraved on the bottom of the receiver with his head held high , my favorite XE Engraving Style ! The Bores are Excellent and the bluing is Very Nice as well with Small Center Bead and Beautiful dark Ivory Front Bead ! This Fox locks up tight and is on face but when opened it does have some play at the hinge ,I have owned the gun for some time and intended to have it tightened up but just have never gotten to it and it functions fine the way it is ! As for Case Colors , there ar none and someone has polished the receiver a bit ,not over the top with no removal of the engraving and the gun still shows very nicely ! So much so it appears in some of the pictures to still have a little case colors but it does not ! I try my best to describe what I'm selling as exact as possible ,I don't like surprises and I don't suspect many others do either ,should you purchase this firearm and are not happy with your purchase ,I am happy to give you a Three day non firing inspection period and all you need to do is contact me with whatever youre aren't happy with let me know you're sending it back and You pay the shipping back to me !
