Winchester 52B Built and Smithed by Walter Womack, a Noted Riflesmith from Shreveport, LA. Who Built Many Rifles used by National Competitors. This Rifle has a Douglas Barrel that was Hand Selected by Womack and Rifled with His Personal Button. The Trigger is by Leon G. Thomas, another Famous Trigger Smith from Shreveport. The Trigger is Externally Adjustable for Pull Weight and has an External Sear Release. The Trigger is Currently Set at 1.5 pounds. The Stock is Very Nice Claro in the Freeland Style and is in Very Good Condition. The Butt Plate is Adjustable for Height and LOP. The Rubber Butt Pad has Hardened from Age and Could be Replaced. The Fore-end has Barrel Pressure Tuning Adjustments. The Metal Single Shot Adaptor is Included. Overall in Excellent Condition.
This is One of the Most Accurate Win 52’s that I ever Shot and has Shot Five Consecutive 5-Shot Groups Under 0.2 inch at 50 yards on a Calm Day with Midas+ Ammo.
