Description:
Kimber of Oregon Model 82 Custom Classic Left Hand, an exceptionally rare combination in 100% condition. Serial #LH1087. Custom Classic Model 82, also identified as a Deluxe Grade. It’s a Super America w/o the stock cheek plate as no LH Super America in LH came with the cheek plate. This LH version was available in the Model 82 and 84. Manufactured between 1982 and 1989. Key features include finer checkering, metal butt plate and pistol grip cap plate, integrated sling mounts, premium wood including claro forestock.I bought the gun from the gentleman that bought out the Kimber of OR factory, with this being one of the guns included in the inventory. It was NIB at the time and I've probably shot a box of shells through it on special ocassions.
Rifle only...scope, mounts and sling not included. This gun is original and includes the original paperwork and brochures. It’s easy to find a nice Kimber. It’s next to impossible finding one of this model, condition and LH configuration. One of the photos is of an appraisal done by Guns International showing the retail value at $2,400, rifle alone. I'm offering for sale at $1,800 plus shipping. If you want the Talleys and Zeiss scope as well, it would be $2,400. No sales to CA or NY.
The Zeiss HD5 5-25x50 scope and accompanying Tally rings can stay with the gun for an additional $700. The scope itself is worth $1,200, the Talleys another $50.
