This is a excellent example of a Vintage German Blaser SR 830 Rifle. The SR 830 is considered to be one of the best rifles made by Blaser in their SR "Safety Rifle" Line. This rifle is mounted with a German Zeiss DIAVARI - Z 1.5-6x42 hunting scope on a set of Suhl mounts. The scope on this rifle still has crystal clear optics. The rifle has an internal 4RD magazine, nice walnut stock with spare ammo compartment and recoil pad. The stock does have a notable crack in the wrist, this crack does not go through to the underside of the wrist. However, it appears that there is a reinforcement pin for this crack on the left side of the wrist. Action is finely engraved with wildlife scenes, it sports a period leather sling. Blaser is know for very fine quality and this one is no exception, action is butter-smooth. The rifle still has strong rifling and an excellent bore.
