Looking for a classic piece of American firearms history? This is a very rare 1st model , 2nd variation, produced for only 10 years from 1888-1897. Serial number 625
VERY RARE ANTIQUE nice collectable Harrington & Richardson 1st model 2nd variation large frame Revolver 5 shot in .38 S&W
Nickel finish , Nickel trigger guard attached with thru pin in the front and rear. Pull pin cylinder. Blade front sight and brass escutcheons on the grips.
These were made for black powder cartridges.

Condition: 2 ½” octagon barrel with a very nice bore and still showing very nice strong rifling.
The metal surfaces rate excellent and still retain most of the original nickel plate with some very light scratches and minor handling marks for its age. Case hardened bright colors on the hammer. This revolver is in like new condition. The gun appears to have had very little use. Very hard to find a 1st model in this condition. Please judge from the photos. The original black checkered hard rubber grips rate excellent and are scratched numbered to the gun . Lock-up and timing are very good. Mechanically works excellent in double and single action.
Revolver comes with a nice custom mahogany case and some .38S&W ammo to display with the revolver . Case is in new condition.
Despite its age, this revolver is in amazing condition. It's a true collector's item that's also functional with minor wear and tear consistent with age.
