Description:
This shotgun is in good shape with only the defects expected from a hunting shotgun dating to 1950. The 11-48 was the precursor of the Model 1100. It is a gas-operated autoloader, with the trim lines that were incorporated into the 1100. The shotgun shows use, but the defects appear cosmetic. The checkering is actually quite sharp. It is chambered in 16 gauge, considered the "perfect" shotgun gauge. 16 Gauge
