Description:
A scarce example of the old model (three screw) Blackhawk in 45 Colt. Not converted with safety feature. Barrel is 7.5" with an excellent bore. Blue is 99% overall, no nicks or marks on the metal. Grips are in fine shape. Pictures show a refinished set I put on just because I like a darker color. The frame shows a moderate amount of the classic "Ruger plumb" color change. One photo shows the grips it came with, choose either set. Mechanically perfect, a joy to shoot and accuracy is excellent. Judging by condition I don't think is was fired much before I got it, and I have shot it very little. My addiction to vintage single shot rifles forces me to let this treasure go. Please be sure your FFL will accept from private seller.
