Description:
Savage Model 99 Chambered in .300 Savage. This is a right-hand hammerless lever action repeating rifle. It has a 24-inch barrel. It is drilled and tapped for scope bases. The butt stock is a checkered grip walnut pistol grip with a black cap. The forearm is a checkered grip walnut Schnabel style. The rifle has a unique rotary magazine that safely allows use of spitzer bullets. The rifle also has a counter that displays remaining rounds in a window on the left side of the receiver. The bore is slightly frosty but has strong rifling. The .300 Savage cartridge is a rimless, .30 caliber rifle cartridge developed by Savage Arms in 1920. It has ballistics like the .308 Winchester. .300 Savage
