Priceless old-world craftsmanship, Classic Italian Breda Hammer Gun, S.I.A.C.E. Boniotti, Gardone.
The watertable is marked with the serial number, “SIACE di Boniotti”, and Italian proofs. The forend iron is marked with the serial number. The barrel flat is marked with Italian proofs, serial number, date code, and “12/70”. The top of the left chamber is marked “Acciaio Breda” and the top of the right chamber is marked “S.I.A.C.E. di A. Boniotti Gardone V.T.” The bottom tang is marked with the serial number. The bottom of each barrel is marked with proofs. The receiver and sideplates have scroll engraving. There are engraved accents on the hammers, barrel release, and trigger guard. Chokes are modified/improved.
The Gelmini brothers, Giuseppe and Ivano, owners of Fabbrica d’Armi S.I.A.C.E., were born in Valle Trompia where they still live with their families. When they were children, they started to show a great interest in guns and hunting following an old family tradition. Being avid hunters with a great passion for side-by-side shotguns, Giuseppe and Ivano have devoted their entire careers to the production of fine hammer and hammerless side by side shotguns in all calibers. Almost all their guns are entirely custom made and feature elegant stocks and fore-ends and fine hand engravings executed by the best Master engravers from Brescia. The Gelmini brothers are also renown for carrying out service and repair work not only on their guns, but on almost every model and brand produced. Thanks to their elegant design and beauty, SIACE hammer side-by-side shotguns are true example of craftsmanship combined with technology. They are greatly appreciated by all those hunters who like “the old days”, but do not want to give up reliability and perfect ballistic performances.
