Description:
This Remington U.S. Model 03-A3 is a right-hand bolt-action U.S. Military rifle in .30-06 Springfield. It has a 24-inch barrel. A blade front sight and an adjustable aperture rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood with a storage compartment. The forearm is a smooth grip, two-piece hardwood. Serial Number 3359330. Barrel is arsenal stamped with an R A and dated 2-44. The 03-A3 were produced during WWII to arm the rapidly expanding armed forces. It has subtle variations from the original Model 03 to reduce costs and increase production. This rifle was manufactured in 1942. .30-06 Springfield
