Remington "New Model" Revolving Rifle, Serial number 237, .36 caliber, weight is 6 lbs. 6 oz. with a 24 inch octagonal barrel, 6 shot percussion, Scrolled brass extention trigger guard, blued finish, finely checkered pistol grip with deluxe walnut stock. it was manufactured between 1866 - 1879, approximately 1,000 total production. It has a curved brass buttplate, un-numbered cylinder, rear sight w/elevator. Mechanically excellent.
