Description:
Colt introduced the Match Target Woodsman in 1938, its features included larger grips, a heavier barrel and a fully adjustable, for windage and elevation, rear sight. To signify its intended market a Bullseye Target icon was roll marked onto the side of the barrel, in which the nickname "Bullseye Match Target" was established. The elongated one piece wrap-around walnut grips also picked up a nickname due to their unusual shape "elephant ears" proved to unfortunately be fragile and often broke. This pistol has its original grips, made in 1939, and is in great condition. This firearm is being offered for sale by the Boise Cabela's Gun Library.
