Payment Types Accepted: Visa, MC, DC, (3% Fee for CC Purchase), Money Order, Certified Funds Check Description: The Nylon 66 by Remington was one of the earliest mass produced rifles to feature a material stock other than wood. The rifle was produced for thirty years from 1959 to 1989. The rifle is semi-automatic, blowback-driven rimfire chambered in .22 LR only. The rifles are fed via a magazine tube that holds 14 rounds. Rather than in front of the action, Nylon 66s are loaded through the buttplate, with the tube running lengthwise through the buttstock. The bolt rode on what Remington described as self-lubricating rails and advised against the application of gun oil or other lubricant. The Apache Black model was the flashiest of the bunch with its white diamond on jet black stock and chrome plated barrel and receiver. This particular rifle is an earlier example manufactured September of 1967. The rifle is not serialized, as it was produced prior to the passing of the Gun Control Act of 1968 that required all firearms manufactured after to be serialized. The rifle is in excellent condition for its age and shows minor marking to the finish. The installed scope is a Weaver V22 3x6 w/ crosshairs reticle. The original manual and information sheet for the rifle is included. Fully insured USPS ground shipping is estimated at $65.00.
