Description:
Lyman Great Plains rifle in .54 caliber. Used. 32 inch barrel, double Set Trigger. Condition is good overall. Bore shows some pitting but is shootable. Bottom barrel rib is loose at the breach end, structurallyit should not effect the rifle, it just holds the thimbles for the ramrod. Blueing has turned plum brown with a couple of scuff marks. Good case color. Wood has nice figure with some small use marks.The rear Buckhorn has been removed and it is fitted with a Lyman #57SML peepsight.The rifle comes with a Buckskin Possible bag, Buckskin sleeve and a powder horn. Just buy it and start to shoot. It's quite accurate. I have shot several White Tails with it. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.
