Serial #AP146666, .22 LR, 6 inch vent ribbed barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Harrington & Richardson Model 999 top break 3rd Model 1st variation "SPORTSMAN" revolver built in 1976. The classic H&R 9 shot revolver is in excellent plus condition retaining virtually all, 98-99% of the original blue finish on the barrel, frame and cylinder with a hint of wear at the muzzle and along the cylinder top edge. The original H&R grips are likewise excellent with minor storage and handling marks. It locks up tight and functions properly. An excellent example of a 3rd model with the improved transfer bar system and adjustable front and rear target sights. FFL
