Winchester Model 12. SN# 1177186. Built in 1948. Up for sale is a Winchester Model Heavy Duck chambered for 12 3" magnum cartrridges. I purchased this shotgun from Winchester employee Edward Ulrich back in the late 70s. The Winchester comes with the 30" solid rib barrel. The barrel extention is marked TRAP and the solid rib has ivory beads installed in the front and mid area, The wood is Winchester factory checkered with the solid Winchester red pad installed. Mr. Ulrich spent most of his hunting time with this shotgun around Chesapeake Bay area. The Poly Choke was added to improve the pattern. The stock and forearm finish are well figured and all original. The Winchester blued metal shows excellent color with dark sides to the receiver. Freight and insurance 45.00
