Description:
Here's a fun one. Old .36 caliber American percussion rifle with lock labled J.Glocher. It's been around the block but it still shoots surprisingly well. 38 inch octagonal barrel shows a rough bore, external pitting and overall brown patina.Wood shows damage around the lock with various dings and dents and escutcheons missing from stock at the barrel pin. Chip out of the toe of the stock. Nice brass patch box though.Replacement ramrod. Double set triggers that only works when the trigger is set.Has some engraving on the lock and hammer. Rear semi buckhorn sight and front German Silver blade.
O.K. Sounds bad but it actually shoots pretty well and would be perfect if you want to get into an antique rifle for not much money or you could pratice your restoration skills. Please contact me if you have any questions.
