Description:
Steyr-Daimler Puch A.G model 1950 chambered in 8x57mm. This rifle was made in Austria by Steyr Arms in 1951 and features a 23.5" high polished blued barrel with a dovetailed blade front sight on a fine serrated ramp base that is fixed to the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a fixed u-notch leaf dovetailed onto a high profile barrel mounted. The receiver Is marked "MADE IN AUSTRIA / ORIGINAL" and "KAL 8x57". The top of the receiver also has a two piece Conetrol brand ring and base system, holding a "HENSOLDT" "DURAL-DAILYTAN 4X" scope. The Walnut Monte Carlo stock is checkered with a capped pistol grip and a serrated rubber Pachmayer recoil pad. This also has an internal 5 shot rotary magazine. Overall this rifle is still in great condition for a 1951. 8x57mm Mauser
