Description:
M-1 Garand barrel. 3-SA-6-45. Bright excellent bore, smooth breech, no pitting or frosting. ME is l.75. TE is 2.75. Dark blackish grey Parkerizing. Not import marked. Top of barrel marked D35448-35-Y-318=C-1 along with a nice ordnance stamp and a couple partial stampings I can’t make out. (See pics). Gas port may be chromed but not pitted however there are 4 deliberate punch marks on two of the 3 port segments. I saw this when I was on active duty long ago. It was sometimes done to tighten up the lock up but certainly not condoned by Army procedure. (See pics.) Some light scuffing and wear marks from being on a rifle. Parkerizing estimated at about 95% or better. Clearing out my barrels. Priority mail shipping charges to buyer zip code.
