Description:
Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG Mannlicher Model SL chambered in .222 Remington. This rifle was made in Austria by Steyr Arms and features a 20" hammer forged tapered barrel with no rear sight in its island base. The front sight is a blade dovetailed into a serrated ramp. The butterknife bolt handle has rear locking lugs. The stock is a capped pistol grip with skip line checkering with a Monte Carlo cheekpiece and a serrated Steyr butt plate. Sling swivels on toe line and forend. Rifle is fitted with a set of scope rings. Comes with 1 detachable 5 round magazine marked "Steyr-222 Rem". .222 Remington

Chambers: Bolt action.
Metal Condition: The top of the barrel shows a fair amount of scattered corrosion freckles. The frame is in great condition showing minimal handling wear. The bolt handle has finish wear at the end. The double triggers do show scattered corrosion freckles.
Wood Condition: "The stock rates about 85% condition overall, with minor scattered cuts ding and pressure marks. No cracks or major defects. Checkering is excellent and still well-defined.
Bore Condition: Bright strong bore.
Barrels: 20" barrel.
Triggers: Double set triggers.
Stock Dimensions:
LOP 14.75".
Fore End: Checkered.
Butt Pad: Hard rubber.
Sights: Front blade with no rear and installed scope rings.
