Offered for sale is one original Ideal Luger Holster/Stock with one set of original Ideal Luger grip plates. The "Patents Pending" stamping is the only stamp on the holster/stock. In the closed position, the overall length is 11", with the extension arms out, overall length is 14". This example is missing a tiny screw as seen in one of the pictures. Referencing Vol 3 of green Gortz & Sturgess p1415-1416 we learn the patent was granted on June 14, 1904, and assigned to the Ideal Holster Company of Los Angeles, California. However, the boxes for the holster/stock had a Toledo, Ohio address for the company. The Ideal holster/stock is only legal by BATFE rules for attachment to an American Eagle Model 1900, 1902, & 1906 model Luger.
