My mistake this is a 243AI Ackley improved Winchester ! my mistake it's not a 220 Swift, but the 243 Ackley can launch and 90 grain bullet faster than the 220 Swift factory round in a lighter 55 green bullet .I believe this was a gifted factory DWM 98 Mauser Before it was sporterized. no car no proof marks just an S prefix low serial number, receiver is not drilled and tapped. These were not blue from the factory just like the ones they sell today they come in the white..from what I read they would give these government officials without cartouches there's no Receiver markings DWM modern made ones are exact copies of this original receiver and they start at around $5000 if you were to buy one today from the factory. It's not a safe queen by any means, but it's in good condition and would be an easy gone to do additional customization on.this was professionally redone and rebuild to 220 Swift . Aftermarket side, Safety and trigger decent wood, I would say the condition of this gun is good. Seems to function properly.
