Description:
Colt Commando revolver serial number 19895 produced during WWII in excellent condition with the original parkerized finish and correct plastic grips. Crisp action with tight lock-up and a bright bore.
It is inscribed “George E. Gerard, US Navy.” He served as an Aviation Machinist’s Mate Second Class (AMM2) during WWII. AMMs also served as gunners on Naval aircraft. He passed in 1975 and is buried in the VA Florida National Cemetery, Busnell FL.
