This listing is for a very lightly used Ruger No.1 B falling block single shot rifle chambered in 25-06 Remington caliber. Using the rifle's serial number and Ruger's data indicates the rifle was made in 2007. I purchased the rifle as used in December of 2010. At that time the rifle appeared to be in near new condition. It still remains in that condition. I see no noticeable flaws in the rifle's condition. There are not even any significant gun safe scratches or dings. Please peruse the 15 photos and make your own evaluation on condition. I had intended to use the rifle. That never really happened. (too many guns & not enough time) Early on I took the Ruger to our local rifle range a couple of times to try it out. Beyond that it has just sat in my gun safe. The Ruger rifle is a standard No. 1-B model with 26" barrel. It came with a pair of 1" Ruger scope rings. There is no factory box nor any paperwork.
It is the buyers responsibility to ensure that he/she is legally qualified to purchase a single shot rifle in their state and local area. Further, the buyer must furnish me with a copy of the dealer's FFL who will be handling the gun transfer. You will need to be sure the FFL holder accepts shipments from a private party. The last thing you want is a gun delivered to your FFL holder who can not, or will not, transfer the rifle to you. Any and all requirements of this FFL holder which affect me (the shipper) need to be communicated to me before the rifle is packaged for shipment. For shipment the rifle will be well padded in a cardboard shipping carton. The flat rate shipping and insurance charge is $85.00 to the lower contiguous 47 states. No sales to CA or any other state or locale which restricts your ability to purchase a rifle. The $85.00 shipping charge will include insurance through the delivering carrier against loss or shipping damage.
I am a private seller. I am not a gun dealer nor an amateur gun trader. As such I am not set up to take credit cards, PayPal, personal checks, etc. I accept USPS Money Orders, other Money Orders and Bank Cashier's Checks for payment. Shipment will be made very promptly for Postal Money Orders. Other forms of Money Orders may take a few days longer to clear my bank. Personal or business checks will not be accepted. The Ruger is priced at $1,700 plus the $85 shipping charge for a total delivered cost of $1,785. A "no shooting" and "no disassembly" 3 day from date of delivery to your FFL holder inspection period applies. If the rifle is sent back the initial shipping & insurance charge will not be returned.
