M-1 Garand SA-9-flat, un- cut, op rod. Used from about serial # 3,450,000 to the end of production. Rod has been used with bright surfaces in areas of metal contact. No rust or pitting. Light wear. Excellent tip. Rod was never modified with the relief cut. Nice Parkerizing exists in areas of non friction. Rod appears much darker in room light. Photo light makes every thing lighter.
